Normally it takes a while before a new band such as The Wanted has it's first tribute band to them, but in The Wanted's case they seem to be breaking the mold for just about everything!

As The Wanted tour sell out arena's in the UK and appear on US TV shows such as 'Ellen', it would appear their appeal is twice that of any other boy band!  So much so, they now have not one, but two tribute bands to them!

The two 'The Wanted Tribute Bands' follow in the tradition of naming tribute bands to mirror their idols, in this case NOT WANTED and MOST WANTED!  As exptected these Wanted tribute shows cover all of the hits of Max, Tom, Siva, Jay, & Nathan, and you can check out all of their details on their StarBookers website page.

At the time of posting this blog The Wanted had reached a staggering No.2 in the US itunes chart with their hit 'Glad You Came', and described their US success as 'surreal'!  Unprecedented for a British Boy Band and making history! 

Could this be the beginning of one of the biggest bands ever, and with it a cavalcade of tribute acts to follow in their wake?

StarBookers Entertainers Shine at Luxury Hotel VIP re-launch in Oman!

StarBookers were proud to have been chosen to provide the entertainment for the relaunch of the Al Bustan Palace - A Ritz Carlton Hotel in Muscat, Oman.

A total of 14 performers in total were flown out from the UK to perform for the VIP audience which included royalty which took place on the 25th January 2012!

 

Amongst the entertainers were the amazing Silk Aerialists (as seen on the BBC TV trailers), the stunning string quartet Siren, those talented undercover magic waiters Waiters With Magic, and the mayhem, glitz & red carpet glamour (or should that be clamour) that is Paparazzi Attack, our very own fake paparazzi!  Lets just say the over zealous security staff had their work cut out in keeping the noisy, light bulb popping Paparazzi Attack at bay!

The launch evening was a huge success, with all of the artistes playing crucial parts in the overall presentation.
